The Opportunity
Reporting to the clinic manager the incumbent is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support. The position requires a high level of professionalism,



attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to work well under pressure in a high‑volume clinical practice. The incumbent will work closely with other healthcare professionals, including but not limited to physicians, nurses and ophthalmic technicians to provide high quality care to all patients.

A Day in the Life (What you will do here)

Strong multi‑tasking and organizational skills

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment

Superior communication skills, particularly verbal, with excellent bedside manner, professionalism, and active listening

Knowledge of EMRs and MS Office suite of applications

Very organized, with attention to detail

Experience with a number of diagnostic tools such as IOLMaster and tests, including topography, refraction, slit lamp examination, lensometry, auto‑refraction, visual acuity, fundus photography, tonometry, OCT testing of the retina, biometry, ORB scan, lens star, iTrace

Patience, approachability and calm demeanor

Ability to manage patient expectations and concerns

Assist with other duties as assigned by the manager

What you need to ensure you are set up for success

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience

1-3 years of clinical assistant/clerk experience

Effective communicator with solid written and verbal communication skills





High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information

Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment

Familiarity with the pharmaceutical or Ophthalmology industry

The anticipated hourly rate, hiring range for this role is $21 to $23 hourly. The final base salary will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, and internal equity
