Location: B-396 Henry Street Brantford, ON N3S 7W1

Salary: $30.00 to $36.00 hourly (negotiable) / 40 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience
2 years to less than 3 years.

Work Setting
Work must be completed at the physical location. Remote work is not available.

Responsibilities / Tasks

Interpret welding process specifications and blueprints.

Operate manual, semi-automatic and fully automated welding equipment.

Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals and processes.

Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications.

Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines.

Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal.

Determine weldability of materials.

Operate hoisting and lifting equipment.

Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.
