Eastern Passage Village Veterinary Clinic is a community‑focused practice located 15 minutes from Dartmouth and easily accessible from anywhere within the Halifax Regional Municipality. Since 1999 we have provided the best possible medical, surgical and dental care for small companion animals. With a newly renovated, expanded hospital, we offer a bright, up-to-date workspace. We do not have on‑call, overnight, Sunday or holiday schedules. Our culture emphasizes collaboration, passion for veterinary care, and continuous improvement of our work life.

What you bring to this role

Completed Veterinary Technician program; eligible to register in Nova Scotia.

New graduates with knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy – welcome to apply! We love growing new graduates.

Experience with surgical preparation, assistance, and patient recovery.

Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records.

Compassionate care for hospitalized patients and their pet parents.

Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.





Problem‑solving skills or the ability to ask clarifying questions to find solutions.

Exceptional interpersonal skills when working with colleagues and pet parents.

Passion to learn more within the role.
