Public/Realm is looking for a Public Relations (PR) Intern to join our creative crew!
This is a 4-month contract, with the possibility of extension.
Position Overview As a PR Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting public relations and influencer marketing programs while learning the fundamentals of agency life. Working alongside experienced team members, you will be exposed to media relations, influencer engagement, event support, research, and account coordination across a variety of clients and industries.
This role is designed for someone who is curious, eager to learn, and looking to build a strong foundation for a career in public relations, communications, or marketing.
Key Responsibilities Assist with research on media, influencers, industry trends, competitors, and cultural insights
Help build and maintain media and influencer contact lists
Support media monitoring and track client coverage across traditional and social media channels




Assist with compiling coverage reports and other client-facing materials
Support influencer programs through research, product seeding coordination, shipping, and tracking
Draft and proofread materials such as briefing notes, media lists, and internal documents
Assist with event preparation, logistics, guest management, and on-site support when required
Attend team meetings, capture notes, and help track action items
Support account administration, including scheduling, document organization, and project coordination
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas informed by trends, culture, and social media
Learn agency processes, client service fundamentals, and best practices in communications

Who You Are Interested in building a career in public relations, communications, marketing, or influencer relations
Recently graduated from, a program in public relations, communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field
Curious, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
Passionate about social media, culture, trends, and storytelling
A strong communicator with solid writing and editing skills
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks with guidance and support
Proactive, dependable, and willing to take initiative
A collaborative team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced workplace

Salary This is a 4-month contract position (possibility of extension) with a salary in the range of $1,450-$1,600 per bi-weekly pay period, based on experience. This reflects an annualized salary of $38,000-$42,000.
