Salary Range: $24.75 - $32.25 per visit

Qualifications

Post‑secondary diploma as an Occupational Therapy / Physiotherapy Assistant (OTA/PTA)

Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable vehicle required

General knowledge of mobility aids and assistive equipment

Commitment to person‑ and family‑centered care

Passionate, empathetic, good judgement, and critical thinking when making decisions





Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team as well as work independently

Valuing the role of a therapist in keeping clients at home when that is personally important

Responsibilities

Prepare clients for treatment and progress them through treatment programs

Assist with and/or teach client therapy programs and training activities of daily living, including the use of assistive equipment and balance training

Assist in the use of therapeutic equipment, including setup, take‑down, and cleaning/disinfection to ensure equipment is in good working order

Apply modalities, including but not limited to heat, ice, ultrasound, IFC, EMS, TENS, and low‑intensity modalities

Write clear, professional, objective, and accurate documentation in client communication records
