Under the general supervision of the Manager of Health Services, you will provide essential nursing support in homes, schools, or clinics. Ideal candidates should possess a strong understanding of community nursing and hold relevant experience. Your duties will include administering prescribed treatments and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to enhance client care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver independent nursing services in community settings
• Administer prescribed medical treatments accurately
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Partake in the coordination of client discharges
• Maintain compliance with nursing standards and protocols
Requirements:
• Graduate from an approved Licensed Practical Nursing program
• Current active registration with CLPNM and CPR certification
• Preferably two years of related nursing experience
• Must have a valid Manitoba Class 5 driver’s license
• Aptitude for understanding nursing ethics and policies
