Enhance quality of life for seniors as a Recreational Therapist. Design and implement engaging therapeutic programs, fostering social skills and community awareness in a part-time, temporary role.

This position involves working closely with seniors in a energetic healthcare setting. You will develop, implement, and evaluate individualized recreational and leisure programs, support social skills development, and collaborate with health professionals. Your work will include supervising volunteers and building connections with community agencies for post-discharge support.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement therapeutic recreational programs
• Support patients’ social skills in group settings
• Collaborate with health professionals for consultations




• Record patient assessments and progress
• Supervise volunteers assisting with social activities

Requirements:
• Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field
• Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS)
• 1-2 years experience with inpatient populations preferred
• Knowledge of community services in the area
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
