Responsibilities Surgical preparation, assistance and patient recovery
Anesthesia monitoring and patient safety
Radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy duties
Keep detailed and accurate patient records
Provide compassionate care for hospitalized patients and their owners
Manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Problem-solving and the ability to ask clarifying questions to find solutions
Exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills with colleagues and pet parents
Demonstrate a passion to learn and grow within the role
Share a love for all companion animals
Qualifications Have completed a Veterinary Technician program; eligible to register
New graduates welcome; knowledge of physical exams, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy
