Empower clients and their families as a Community Health Worker. Provide essential personal care and support while promoting independence in clients' homes through daily living assistance.
This casual role involves being part of a multidisciplinary health care team. You'll assist with activities of daily living and support clients in line with established care plans. Travel between multiple sites is a regular requirement, necessitating a valid BC driver’s license and effective communication skills for engaging with clients and families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care and support to clients
• Assist with daily living activities as needed
• Communicate effectively with clients and families
• Travel between multiple care locations regularly
• Follow established care plans for individual clients
Requirements:
• Certificate in Home Support or equivalent experience
• Food Protected Certificate required
• Valid BC driver’s license mandatory
• Current registration with BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
• Strong independence in work performance
