Do you want to use your expertise to do more than just balance books? SHARE Family & Community Services is looking for a strategic, hands-on Senior Accountants to join our team in the Tri-Cities. There are two Senior Accountant positions available, both supporting the agency’s financial operations, with one position having a primary focus on our 43Housing Program, including financial oversight, reporting, and systems management. Work-Life Balance: 4 weeks of annual paid time off to recharge, plus all BC statutory holidays, plus an additional 2 paid days for Easter Monday and Boxing Day. Key Impact Areas As the lead for our financial operations, you will be the bridge between complex data and strategic action. Financial Management and Reporting Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and variance reports. Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities. Develop and maintain internal financial controls and accounting policies in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards. Deliver comprehensive financial oversight for the Housing program, including rent revenue tracking, subsidy reconciliations, and the preparation of monthly financial and program specific performance reports. Reconcile Housing systems databases with general ledger records and dedicated 43 Housing
