Job Summary
The Junior Design Change Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Configuration Management infrastructure by collecting and processing product design data from various sources and assisting with the management of engineering changes. This role involves reviewing, processing, managing, and maintaining accurate records and data within company systems to ensure information is current, accurate, and readily accessible. The position also supports effective recordkeeping practices and contributes to the integrity of product and configuration data.
Responsibilities
Compile, verify, and sort information according to established priorities to support the processing of design changes.
Review data for deficiencies or errors and correct any inconsistencies or incompatibilities.
Research and obtain additional information for incomplete or inaccurate data.
Create and maintain master data within data management systems with a high degree of accuracy.
Coordinate, process, and support the approval of design changes as required.
Comply with data integrity, confidentiality, and security policies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance, to ensure configuration data is accurate, complete, and up to date.
Required Skills / Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Office applications and data management programs.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments effectively.
Zero to two years of previous data entry, document control, or related experience.
Exceptional attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Ability to interpret complex technical information and translate it into clear, simple language for users of all technical backgrounds.
Beginner to intermediate knowledge of engineering terminology and engineering documentation is considered an asset.
Knowledge of, or experience working with, ERP and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems is considered an asset.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
High school diploma and some technical training or post-secondary education, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Zero to one year of previous data entry, document control, or related experience.
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Ability to interpret complex technical information and translate it into clear, concise language.
Work Location: Hybrid (In-office 3 days per week, subject to change)
City: Surrey
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 CAD (This range reflects the minimum and maximum target payable for the base salary of new hires across all Canadian locations. Actual compensation may vary outside this range and is dependent on various factors.)
