Responsibilities

Manage the recruitment lifecycle and a list of casual employees

Maintain an on‑call schedule

Provide assistance to and holiday coverage for on‑ and off‑site HR teammates

Facilitate enrollments into our benefits and employer‑matched RSP plans

Assist in developing and updating ENYR policies, procedures and print materials

Maintain employee paper and electronic files, a clean and orderly office and adequate stock of the necessary supplies





Book and organize meetings and interviews, accept registrations and RSVPs

Attend meetings, take minutes and facilitate the follow‑up on action items

Facilitate training, including that of HR teammates

Provide guidance and assistance to managers regarding HR functions and employment legislation

Other reasonable duties as required or assigned

Competencies

Exceptional resourcefulness and ability to hit the ground running

Self‑starter with solid initiative

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Qualifications

Degree, diploma or certificate in HR and/or significant previous experience with recruitment or supporting an HR department

Working knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and HR best practices and principles

Proficiency with Office365 and MS Office Suite

Strong accurate keyboarding skills

Excellent communication skills

Familiarity with First Nations culture is an asset

Criminal Record Check is required
