Exciting prospect for a Robotics Technician skilled in welding and programming. This role offers a chance to work in a fast-paced environment focusing on automation and robotics.
As a Robotics Technician, you will leverage your education in Robotics or Automation while applying your welding experience in Mig, Stick, and Tig methods. You'll utilize PLC programming skills with Allen Bradley systems, troubleshoot effectively, and enhance automation through vision systems such as Keyence and Cognex cameras. Your impact will be evident in optimizing processes, ensuring quality, and implementing improvements in an automotive manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Optimize welding parameters for quality
• Troubleshoot PLC programming and robotics
• Conduct experiments for new equipment applications
• Manage preventative maintenance on welding equipment
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve cycle time issues
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Robotics/Automation
• Experience in Mig, Stick, and Tig welding
• Proficiency in PLC programming with Allen Bradley
• Familiarity with vision systems like Keyence
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
