Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office & Program Coordinator to support daily operations and help coordinate programs, events, and administrative activities. This role reports to the Executive Director of AWMAC BC.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day‑to‑day administrative and operational support to the Executive Director and office team
Coordinate programs, meetings, and events, ensuring smooth execution
Maintain accurate records, databases, and administrative systems
Support internal workflows and assist with process improvements
Coordinate member communications and administrative aspects of association programs
Support the administration of membership records and related processes
Assist with general office operations and coordination tasks as needed
Qualifications & Skills
Post‑secondary education in administration, business, communications, or related field (asset)
Experience in an administrative or coordination role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Professional, reliable, and self‑motivated
Strong interpersonal and customer‑service skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment

Compensation
Salary: $52,000 – $56,000 depending on experience
