Medical Radiation Technologist – Specialty

Employment Terms: Part time

Length of Employment: Permanent

Salary: Pay Band 17 $40.610 to $43.510 (3 step range)

Job Description: Performs a variety of specialized diagnostic technical procedures utilizing radiation equipment for the diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology. Specialty disciplines are: Mammography, Angiography (IR) and Computerized Tomography (CT).

Qualifications

Experience: Twenty-four (24) months previous experience as a Medical Radiation Technologist.

Education: Medical Radiologic Technology Advanced Diploma.

Licenses: Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists; College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Professionals of Saskatchewan.

Other Education and Training: Angiography training/certificate, as required; Mammography training/certificate,



as required; Computerized Tomography training/certificate, as required.

Competencies: Basic computer skills, communication skills, interpersonal skills.

Knowledge and Abilities: Ability to work independently.
