Lemare Forestry Ltd. is currently seeking a skilled and dependable Second Cook to join our remote logging camp team near Prince Rupert, BC. The Second Cook plays a key role in assisting the Head Cook with daily meal preparation and maintaining high standards of food service for camp staff.

Duties

Assist the Head Cook with preparing, seasoning, and cooking daily meals

Ensure meals are prepared in accordance with Food Protected standards

Support menu planning, grocery orders, and inventory management as required

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas

Assist with dishes, food storage, and lunchroom setup

Step in to cover Head Cook duties when required

Qualifications

Previous camp cooking experience (asset)

Valid Food Safe Certificate (required)

Red Seal Cook Certification or equivalent (asset)

Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs throughout a shift

Team-oriented, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced, remote environment
