Join as a Kitchen Coordinator to enhance community wellbeing through meal preparations. Deliver nutritious meals onsite every weekend while managing all aspects of kitchen operations.
You will report to the Program Manager, responsible for planning, budgeting, and ensuring kitchen safety standards. This role involves coordinating community kitchen programs and creating tailored menus to meet the needs of residents. Foster positive relationships while leading a respectful, inclusive kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and lead community kitchen programs
• Plan and facilitate meetings with residents
• Create nutritious meal plans and cooking schedules
• Ensure adequate kitchen supplies on budget
• Uphold health and safety standards
Requirements:
• Related degree or diploma required
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in food service
• Valid Food Secure Level 2 and other necessary certifications
• Strong understanding of Indigenous knowledge
• Ability to manage pressure and crises effectively
