Become an integral part of children's learning as an Alberta Early Childhood Educator. This role entails supervision, planning, and creating a nurturing setting for young learners.
As an Educator, you will fulfill crucial responsibilities in line with the 1st Class program goals, under the supervision of the location directors. Engaging with children, planning activities, and ensuring compliance with the Alberta Early Learning and Child Care Act are the pillars of this role. Your task is to adapt programming based on child observations to promote a healthy and safe learning space.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage with children and supervise daily activities
• Plan meaningful programs and creative expressions
• Document children’s learning and experiences
• Conduct regular safety checks on facilities
• Maintain a clean and welcoming program environment
Requirements:
• Flexible schedule to cover all program hours
• Level 1 Early Childhood Educator Certificate (or obtain within 4 months)
• Police clearance within 8 weeks
• CPR and First Aid Certificate (to be provided)
• Physically capable of lifting 20–35 lbs
