Become a Michif Youth Services Administrative Assistant at Kikékyelc. This part time position is integral to supporting youth through various administrative and practical tasks.
As a Team Assistant, your role involves collaborating with social workers and managing daily casework for youth services. You will be responsible for maintaining documentation and supporting various initiatives that promote cultural identity and community ties for Indigenous youth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate records and ICM documentation
• Prepare payment requests and manage files accordingly
• Assist in developing and assessing client plans
• Document activities during integrated case meetings
• Provide transportation for clients to necessary appointments
Requirements:
• Diploma in Human/Social Services or a related field
• 2 years of experience with Indigenous individuals
• Knowledge of Métis culture and community contexts
• Ability to handle workplace challenges independently
• Criminal Records Check and valid BC Driver’s License required
Facilitate meaningful connections for youth with Michif Youth Services through support and documentation.
