Empower seniors in Chilliwack as a Part time Senior Social Programs Coordinator with Compassionate Neighbours. This hybrid role focuses on executing meaningful social programs tailored for seniors.

Working 20 hours a week, you will play a key role in coordinating community meals, leading craft events, and ensuring supportive social interactions for seniors. The right fit is someone who demonstrates enthusiasm, organizational prowess, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the Enhanced Social Meal Program for seniors
• Organize and lead weekly Seniors Connect Café events
• Facilitate registrations for cooking classes and community events
• Manage the Friendly Visitors Program,



matching volunteers and seniors
• Prepare for and co-facilitate craft and board game activities

Requirements:
• Leadership experience in a non-profit setting is an asset
• Strong interpersonal skills with a participatory style
• Proficient in Microsoft products and database management
• Familiar with central documentation in Google drives
• Class 5 or Class 7 Driver’s License and vehicle access necessary
