Karis Disability Services is looking for a Part time Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in Saskatoon. Support community living every weekend from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
This position encompasses 16 hours of work each week, primarily on weekends. As a Direct Support Professional, you will strive to enhance the quality of life for individuals by supporting their daily activities and helping them to connect within their communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with their daily living needs
• Encourage community involvement and relationships
• Aid clients in achieving their personal objectives
• Ensure a safe, nurturing atmosphere
• Coordinate with families and support systems
Requirements:
• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
• Valid Sask. Full Class 5 or Novice 2 license
• Access to dependable transportation
• Acceptable Driver’s Abstract
• 3-6 months relevant experience preferred
