310T Licensed Technician

We currently have an opportunity for enthusiastic individuals to join our mechanical team as 310T Certified Technician for our Sudbury, Ontario division at our Little Current, Ontario shop.

This position is responsible for conducting annual safety inspections, performing repairs and following our preventative maintenance program on our current fleet of trucks, trailers and equipment. Duties assigned by Lead-Hand/Mechanical Superintendent.

Qualifications include:

Licensed Truck & Coach Mechanic (310T) preferred; however, 310S & 421A will be taken into consideration;

Level 3 Apprentice in 310T, 310S or 421A will be considered;

Registered for DriveOn portal;

Valid Ontario Driver’s License;

Company truck and company gas card will be provided;

Knowledge and experience in Preventative Maintenance Programs;





Knowledge and experience in engine/emission diagnostics, electrical diagnostics and repair;

Knowledge and experience in heavy truck hydraulics, pneumatics, brakes, suspension, and steering;

Knowledge and experience on Bosch Rexroth salt management system;

Knowledge and experience in fabrication and welding considered an asset;

Valuable knowledge of trade related worksite safety;

Experience on industry related heavy-duty equipment such as gravel trucks, snow-plow trucks, winter maintenance attachments, loaders, grader, sweepers, mowers, backhoes, tractors, etc.;

Capable of working overtime as required;

Capable of performing call out to attend vehicle breakdown.

Pay Rate:
$37.08 – $42.08 hourly
