Become a critical member of the FASD Clinic's team as a Social Worker. This position involves supporting families with psychosocial assessments and care coordination for FASD issues.
We are looking for a Social Worker with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Social Work, currently registered in good standing with the Ontario College. The role includes conducting assessments, developing care plans, and providing emotional support to individuals impacted by FASD. You will also promote culturally respectful care and collaborate with local communities to enhance service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive psychosocial assessments for diagnostic purposes
• Develop and recommend individualized care plans based on assessments
• Provide counselling and emotional support for affected families
• Collaborate with various community and health partners
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
Requirements:
• BSW or MSW with current Ontario registration
• At least 2-3 years relevant experience in social work
• Familiarity with FASD and neurodevelopmental conditions
• Strong team-oriented and advocacy skills
• Valid driver’s license for community outreach
Foster a supportive environment for families dealing with FASD at the FASD Clinic.
