Warehouse Worker – Tile + Stone Source

Responsibilities

Ensure the accurate and seamless processing of incoming and outgoing shipments

Load and unload shipments regularly, with the capability of repetitive heavy lifting, and use any necessary equipment, e.g., lift truck, forklift, etc.

Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to verify contents and quality

Assist with scheduling freight appointments.

Complete waybills and bills of landing and international shipments

Weigh and measure product

Manage inventory and vendor relations with shipping companies

Qualifications

Previous warehouse experience

Basic mathematical skills

A valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Knowledge of filling out waybills, bills of landing, and international shipments

Working knowledge and training in protected lifting methods

Computer literacy,



including working skills of Excel and e-mail

Interview Behaviors

Reliability; provide examples of times you’ve met or exceeded your expectations

Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral

Warehouse experience; examples of your contribution to an efficient warehouse operation

Your ability to handle repetitive physical labor such as standing, bending, and lifting heavy objects for extended periods of time

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule

8 hour shift, 5 days per week between Monday and Saturday

Location

Calgary, AB T2H 2B7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience

Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Forklift: 1 year (preferred)
