Overview
A Floor Supervisor role is critical to the success of the River Cree Resort & Casino. The primary purpose of the Floor Supervisor or Pit Boss is to demonstrate the knowledge to be able to supervise the day to day operations of a grouping of gaming tables. The Floor Supervisor is charged with helping the Dealer to enhance the guest’s gaming experience.

The Floor Supervisor will supervise the games in their section in accordance with AGLC rules and River Cree Table Games department policies and procedures. The Floor Supervisor will understand and comply with all service, quality and safety standards set forth by the River Cree Resort and Casino.

Ensure gambling games run smoothly, legally, and according to AGLC and casino rules.

Coach and provide support to front line associates to help bring their skills to the next level

Natural ability to engage others in conversation

Maintains focus in a busy atmosphere

Effective stress management skills.

Ability to excel in a fun atmosphere

Provide helpful explanations of our games

Able to handle minor concerns or disputes between guests and the casino

Communicates information on suspicious table activity to the manager.

Able to complete Game evaluations and Circle of Service audits.

Reports player’s gaming activity to management





Rate players based on their action on the gaming floor

Responsible for checking the accuracy of money and chip transactions at gaming tables

To look out for the safety of yourself, co-workers and to follow all Health and Safety requirements in the workplace.

All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

1-2 years’ experience in the casino industry.

Minimum 1 year demonstrated experience as Floor Supervisor.

Experience with table games, rules, and procedures.

Proven ability to coach and mentor associates.

Excellent interaction skills with the public

Excellent customer service skills

Able to work in high stress environments and dealing with conflict situations.

Able to work in a smoking workplace

The Floor Supervisor’s schedule may vary and would require the ability to work shift work, late nights, weekends and holidays.

River Cree resort and casino has a smoking environment. All associates are required to be able to work in that setting. Floor Supervisors are required to stand for extended periods of time.
