Knight's Companies is seeking an Experienced Diesel Technician II for its Summerville maintenance shop to ensure the reliability of our fleet. Bring your expertise in hydraulics, brakes, and diesel engines to this crucial role.

This role requires a blend of technical skills and practical experience. Successful candidates will engage in hands-on repairs, from tires to hydraulic systems, while ensuring that all tasks adhere to safety protocols. As part of a team-oriented team, you will guide less experienced technicians and uphold high standards of efficiency and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform tire changes and repairs according to specifications
• Provide oil and filter services for heavy machinery




• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues
• Conduct testing of hydraulic systems for compliance
• Collaborate with Diesel Technicians III on complex repairs

Requirements:
• Diesel technology diploma or minimum 4 years hands-on experience
• ASE certifications are a plus
• Holder of a valid driver’s license, with CDL preferred
• Must have personal tools for repair work
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
