North Star Windows & Doors (St. Thomas, Ontario) is hiring a motivated, safety‑focused team player who is eager to learn and grow as part of our Production Team in a permanent, part‑time role.





9:00 AM – 2:00 PM | Monday to Friday

$22.25/hour (increase to $22.50/hour after 90 days )

Permanent part‑time position

On‑site production role

As part of the team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Assemble, fabricate, and inspect windows and doors to meet quality standards and specifications

Review work orders, prepare materials, and safely operate hand tools, power tools, saws, and automated equipment

Assemble components, including frames, glass units, hardware, seals, and screens

Operate production equipment such as saws, pneumatic tools, and welding machinery

Inspect finished products and report defects or quality concerns

Prepare products for shipment, including labeling, packing, and loading

Participate in 5 S activities and continuous improvement initiatives

Contribute ideas to improve safety, quality, and efficiency

Support quality standards and help ensure products meet customer requirements

Work respectfully and collaboratively as part of a team

Support the team in achieving production and performance targets

Follow direction of leadership and continuously verify quality through measurement

Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Previous experience with general labour, construction, or manufacturing is preferred

Willing to train, but must have a great attitude, strong work ethic, and reliable background

Standing for the full shift, lifting/maneuvering of products required (medium to heavy lifting, 30–50 lbs)

Handling of materials (manual dexterity required)

Experience using power tools and hand tools

Ability to read a tape measure with accuracy and precision

Safety‑conscious and detail oriented

Must be eligible to work in Canada and 18 years of age or older
