Concrete Finisher

Work Location: On the road (variable; frequent or constant travel required)

Compensation: $36.00 per hour, 30 hours per week.

Employment Type: Permanent, Full time

Schedule: Starts as soon as possible. Two vacancies.

Responsibilities

Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement.

Operate power vibrators to compact concrete.

Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification.

Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.

Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures.

Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.

Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces.

Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.

Work Conditions

Handling heavy loads.

Standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.

Language: English.

Ability to work on the road; travel frequently or constantly.

Eligibility

Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or temporary resident with a valid work permit.
