Job Overview
A Lube Technician performs basic heavy duty vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and vehicle inspections. The role helps ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently while providing good customer service.
Inspect brakes, belts, hoses, batteries, and air filter
Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections
Maintain accurate service records
Keep work areas clean and secure
Recommend maintenance services based on inspection findings
Follow shop safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines
Willing to overnight at multiple locations around the province of Saskatchewan between Monday to Friday, some weekend work may be required
Qualifications and Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Basic automotive knowledge and equipment
Ability to use hand and power tools
Valid driver’s license is required
Ability to lift 40-50 lbs and stand for long periods
Strong attention to detail
Customer service skills
Automotive service experience and heavy truck and trailer
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance schedules
