Job DescriptionPackager - General Worker for Thermal Spray, Belting and PTFE ProductsMain Duties:Performing general warehouse duties, material handling & order pickingPackaging material based on picking slip instructionsLabelling material with appropriate descriptionLabeling the box with box labelsSorting boxesOrder processing and fulfillmentEnsure that the standards are met as it pertains to proper inspection, packaging of products received and shippedMaintaining inventory of packaging suppliesCreate a daily report in Excel of material that has been packagedRequest help from licensed team members able to use the forklift to move products & pallets, and ensuring products that require storage are placed in the appropriate areasHelp with production team to organize the floor and inventory, put stock away accordinglyOrganize, review, and check orders using the dedicated computer systemParticipating in cycle/physical counts & inventory operations as requiredMaintain proper housekeeping and 5S to keep work area neat & tidyEnsures that all policies, procedures and safety practices are followedAttend prescribed courses and training as requiredOther duties as assigned by the Management.RequirementsPrior experience in Packaging is required.Prior experience in Shipping-Receiving is an asset.Background of Warehouse, Supply Chain or Manufacturing Industry is an asset.Strong communication skills, both verbal & writtenProficiency with MS office, internet solutions, computerized systems - software or ERPAble to read labels and chartsRegularly required to walk and stand for extended periods of time.This position involves physical work - lift upto 40 lbs & push/pull up to 35 poundsExcellent attendance is required.Able to work over-time and weekend shifts if requiredPrior experience with Forklift is an assetSalary & Conditions:Job Location:
