Clean Harbors in Breslau, ON location is currently looking for a Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team.

Wage range for this position: $38-42/hour

Responsibilities

Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.

Perform all required maintenance and repairs to various types of equipment, tanker tailers and heavy‑duty trucks.

Perform maintenance which follows the manufacturer guidelines.





Complete all paperwork required.

Ensure the shop area is kept clean, tidy and free of hazards at all times.

Qualifications

JM Mechanic certification (310T license).

3+ years experience in maintaining one or more of the following units: pickup trucks, tractors, and trailers.

Familiarity with the various types of diesel engines.

Ability to oversee, coach and mentor all apprentices and other shop laborers.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Semi Annual Safety Inspection (CVI License).
