The Prospect
The Transportation Operator is responsible for routing and transporting loads of corrugated board from the Corrugator via powered and/or gravity conveyor and by operating a fork truck. The hourly rate for this position is $27.14.

Weekly Rotational Shifts
Days, Afternoons, Nights – 7 am to 3 pm, 3 pm to 11 pm; 11 pm to 7 am

What You’ll Do

Routes units of finished sheets to the Unitizer or loads of in-process board to the converting department

Works safely and in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures and OHS legislation; wears prescribed PPE and reports all hazards to supervision

Verifies quality of all Finished Goods Units in the Warehouse

Transports loads on powered or gravity conveyor or moves loads with a fork truck

Inserts Finished Goods Load Tags or In-process Tags into loads as required

Operates the bander to unitize units of finished sheets and some in-process loads

Inspects the quality of the loads from the corrugator and removes defective sheets from the loads





Maintains good housekeeping and finished sheets storage areas at the Corrugator

Stacks and stores units and load orders onto trailer as required

Maintains good housekeeping practices and follows food safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

Back up for the position is Unitizer

Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

High School Diploma or related experience and/or training

Valid Forklift certificate, or willingness to receive Forklift training

Able to perform the physical demands of the position are a prerequisite

Strong oral and written communication skills are a prerequisite
