Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated, people-focused, and operations-driven Practice Leader to join our team. This leadership role is integral in supporting both the clinical and administrative teams while ensuring smooth daily operations, high-quality service delivery, and a positive practice culture.
The ideal candidate brings leadership experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for supporting teams in delivering excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and a consistently positive patient experience.
Lead, coach, and mentor administrative and clinical support team members to foster engagement, development, and retention.
Partner with dentists and clinical leaders to align operations with high-quality patient care and clinical priorities.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs); identify improvement opportunities and implement action plans.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements.
Oversee scheduling, payroll administration, accounts receivable, and inventory management.
Support recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new team members.
Facilitate effective communication across the practice and promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Handle patient concerns professionally and ensure timely resolution.
Maintain accurate operational records and contribute to strategic planning and practice growth initiatives.
Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Business, Office Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
3–5 years of management or supervisory experience (dental or healthcare setting preferred).
Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships.
Demonstrated experience overseeing HR functions, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance reviews, and managing disciplinary actions or terminations with professionalism and discretion.
Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasting, scheduling, performance metrics, and operational processes.
Experience with dental practice management software such as Dentrix, Tracker, Abeldent, Paradigm, Cleardent, or equivalent.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.

Flexibility to work diverse hours based on practice needs.
Compensation
Pay Range: $40.00–$45.00 per hour.
Compensation is commensurate with experience and skills.
