Under supervision, inspect machined components to ensure conformance with quality standards and engineered drawings.

Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree; five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of training/experience – Verifiable recent experience in machine shop inspection.





Ability to comprehend and utilize ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System procedures.

Ability to read and interpret work orders, engineering drawings, and/or assimilate verbal work instructions.

Ability to use O.D and I.D. micrometers, calipers, height gauges and thread gauges.

Ability to recognize, set‑up, and effectively use general and advanced measuring and test equipment.

Ability to perform gage calibrations, computer operation and mathematical computation.

Have advanced knowledge in use of monitoring and measuring equipment associated with a machine shop environment.

SAP user experience is a plus.
