Make an impact as an Emergency Shelter Support Worker at YWCA Regina, providing vital harm reduction and individualized support for women. Engage residents in achieving their personal and housing goals.

This full time, permanent role centers on supporting women in a high-acuity setting. You will collaborate with a committed team to ensure secure operations while addressing the complex needs of shelter residents. A combination of education and experience in social work or similar fields is required, along with a deep understanding of Indigenous issues.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality support and resources to residents
• Create and monitor individualized care plans
• Document resident progress and support operations




• Offer crisis intervention and trauma-informed care
• Collaborate on advocacy efforts for residents' needs

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or similar
• Minimum 7-11 months of relevant experience
• Solid understanding of family violence and trauma-informed practices
• Good documentation and organizational skills
• Cultural competency and respect for diverse backgrounds

Assist women in overcoming barriers to housing stability at YWCA Regina.
