Position Overview
This competitive position is open to all applicants. Internal candidates and former University of Alberta employees are given priority consideration.

Location: In-person at Augustana Campus, Camrose (Treaty 6 territory). The role is based primarily in Augustana Campus, Camrose.

Appointment: Part‑time for an initial four‑month term during Winter Term 2027 (January 4 – April 9, 2027) with exam period following.

Responsibilities

Develop and present lectures and labs in analytical chemistry.

Prepare, administer, and grade examinations and other course assessments.

Maintain regularly scheduled office hours to respond to student questions.

Qualifications

A Master’s degree in chemistry with proficiency in analytical chemistry or a related area.





Demonstrated excellence or robust potential in teaching at the post‑secondary level.

Compensation
Salary will be commensurate with experience in accordance with Schedule D of the Collective Agreement between the Board of Governors of the University of Alberta and the Association of the Academic Staff of the University of Alberta.
