providing exposure to a wide variety of equipment and opportunities to expand your technical expertise Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Hydrovacs, Wet Vacuum Trucks, Combo Units, Water Trucks, High Pressure Water Blasting equipment, highway tractors, and trailers (Peterbilt, Kenworth, and Western Star) Complete Commercial Vehicle Inspections (CVIP) Mentor apprentices and support their development Participate in daily toolbox and safety meetings while adhering to company and site safety requirements Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (On-Road) certification required Valid Class 5 driver's licence with no more than five demerits in the past three years Class 1 or Class 3 driver's licence is considered an asset Experience with hydraulic, electrical, and pump systems is considered an asset Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test You’re meticulous — you enjoy troubleshooting complex mechanical issues, performing precision work, and completing accurate documentation for projects and repairs You have strong communication skills and take pride in producing quality workmanship while finding solutions to challenging problems Your knowledge of Cummins, CAT, and John Deere engines will help you succeed in maintaining our diverse fleet
