Job Title: Customs Specialist
Location: Vancouver, Melville St, Canada
Time Type: Full Time
Compensation: Salary starting at $55,000 per year, plus eligible advantages, in accordance with experience and internal equity

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Set up and release of assigned account shipments





Manage more complex shipments, with some assistance

Track and trace incoming shipments and communicate with clients as required

Provide final accounting to CBSA for a set list of assigned accounts

Arrange payments of invoices to steamship lines, warehouses, government agencies

Arrange transportation of cargo once released, and maintain trucker relationships to maximize partnerships

Identify tasks that require special handling, recommend process improvements, and implement resolutions within assigned scope of responsibility
