Weeneebayko Area Health Authority (WAHA) is looking for an experienced professional to fill the key role of Laundry Aide.

Who You Are

Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills

Strong teamwork and communication skills, written and verbal

Motivated skilled who can work with minimal supervision

What You’ll Do

Provide laundry services in a health care facility setting

Operate all washing equipment in a manner that will provide the patients with clean and sanitary infection‑free linen

Perform cleaning tasks as required within the Laundry area

Create and maintain safe working conditions

What You Bring

Successful completion of secondary school, or equivalency, or experience

Job related experience in health care facility is an asset

Reliable, personable and courteous

Certification in WHIMIS or willingness to obtain





Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

Ability to communicate in the local native Cree language is an asset
