What does it take to get on track?

3 years of experience in the automotive repair or tire industry is required

Experience providing mechanical service quotes is an asset

Effective listening skills with the ability to identify customer needs and provide recommendations

Working knowledge of passenger, light truck and specialty tires and mechanical services

Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to provide a satisfactory passenger or commercial Driver’s Abstract

Excellent customer service and a outstanding attitude are a must

A team player who takes pride in their work

Primary Responsibilities

Creating work orders and arranging bookings and communicating them to the technicians

Provide service quotes and receive customer authorization for work to be performed on vehicles, finalize sales, and complete customer follow up.

Provide proactive calls to customers to determine their satisfaction level with the service they have received

Recommend tire service, specialty tire service, wheel and mechanical service to customersEnsure that all products are billed accurately to the customer and process all necessary information in the computer system.

Keep promotional material updated in the showroom.

Participate in all safety initiatives, as required or assigned, to guarantee safety at Fountain Tire including customers and staff, on the road, site or field.

Complete assigned e-learning and safety courses and adhering to standards and policies as described in learning modules.

Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
