We operate full‑day early learning and childcare centres for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, along with before and after school extended‑day programs for kindergarten and school‑aged children at over 27 locations across the Greater Hamilton Area. Location and Hours

Location: Dundas Central Centre; 73 Melville St, Dundas, ON L9H 2A2

Total Weekly Hours: 17.75 hours per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2:45pm - 6:00pm

Pay Rate:

RECE - $28.90 per hour

Non RECE - $26.35 per hour

Who We’re Looking For
Qualifications

Minimum 1‑year experience working directly with children or in a childcare setting.





Early Childhood Education Diploma (ECE) and member in valuable standing with the College of ECEs OR educational requirements to obtain Director’s Approval for working alone with children.

Certifications

Standard First Aid with CPR Level C

Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check

Proof of up‑to‑date immunizations (TB, Tetanus, MMR)

Skills & Knowledge

Familiarity with How Does Learning Happen? (an asset)

Strong understanding of child development and age‑appropriate activities.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Characteristics

Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and implement activities to support children’s cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development.

Ensure the safety and well‑being of children at all times.

Maintain an engaging and welcoming setting for children and families.

Complete documentation and meet Ministry of Education requirements.

Collaborate with Hamilton Wentworth District School Board faculty.
