If you're looking for a recent opportunity, we provide career growth, an excellent benefits plan, RRSP matching, and competitive compensation.The Production Assistant supports the General Manager by ensuring materials necessary to perform a repair are available to technicians, including parts. The Production Assistant also participates in the final repair plan meetings, morning and afternoon huddles. The Production Assistant works with all team members in achieving the repair facilities' KPIs.Key Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way)
planOversee major disassembly for repair planning and movement of damaged vehicles to the disassembly areaVerify all parts are received and stored in the appropriate locationCommunicate with team if there are any changes to the repair planEnsure all equipment is operating properlyMove vehicles in and out of shop to ensure efficient floor space for productionFacilitate communication between the techs and front officeAssure all stalls are routinely cleared of damaged parts and dirtEnsure consistent execution of tasks by adhering to high standards of quality and productivity. This commitment directly impacts the shop's efficiency and helps maintain a positive NPS (Net Promoter Score) by delivering high-quality, detailed work.Minimum Education and/or Experience Required for the JobHigh School Diploma or equivalentProven experience in a collision repair environment or similar roleRequired Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesBasic knowledge of the repair processCommunicate effectively, both verbally and in writingAbility to multitask and function well in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracyOther Requirements Travel, physical requirements, etc.Frequently required to bend, crouch, reach, handle tools and lift in excess of 50lbsValid driver’s license requiredPlease note, this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities,
