Overview Building goods on an assembly line in accordance with schematics, plans, or instructions. Ensure that operations function smoothly, adhere to approved safety and efficiency norms.
Responsibilities Checking goods for errors or flaws.
Putting parts of the product on the assembly line and boxing up the finished product for storage.
If equipment malfunctions or a significant flaw is found, stopping the assembly line and halting output is necessary.
Keeping track of mechanical changes and fixes.
Reporting to management any problems, poor performance, or flaws in the final output.
To learn about the specs for products and services, read blueprints, plans, and specifications. Measure the products size, go at its functionality, and contrast it with the requirements.
Requirements A high school diploma or other equivalency.
2 years or more of experience operating an assembly line.
Familiarity with assembly techniques and production equipment.
Excellent understanding of the rules and procedures for production safety.
Ability to read and comprehend schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy setting.
Having the physical stamina and strength to move big objects and stand for extended periods of time.
Valuable math and technical skills.
Benefits Terms of Employment: Permanent employment Full time Evening, Shift 40 hours per week
Salary: $21.20 - $26.00 per hour
