Responsibilities Monitor and manage employees including salespeople, cashiers, and shelf stockers.
Oversee money handling and support budgeting processes, including preparing an annual budget.
Maintain records of spending, sales, and employee performance.
Assess stock supply, stock availability, profit margins, and related metrics.
Implement measures to prevent stock damage, theft, and waste.
Maintain product displays, shelf stock, and overall store appearance.
Analyze market trends and recommend products aligned with consumer preferences.
Handle customer requests, criticisms, and complaints professionally.
Encourage staff to meet goals and deliver results.
Schedule shifts and assist with training new hires.
Qualifications GED or high school diploma required.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, financial management, or a related field is preferred.
Experience in a retail setting, or equivalent, as a supervisor.
Extensive experience creating budgets, financial reports,
and expense reports.
Solid understanding of marketing tactics, consumer trends, and product trends.
Excellent people skills for interacting with coworkers and customers.
Proficiency with retail management programs (e.g., AIM, NetSuite) and with word processing and spreadsheet software.
Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
Knowledge of relevant labor laws and retail health and safety regulations.
Compensation Salary: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour
Years of experience required: 1-2 years
