Overview Duration: 8 months with possibility of extension. Machining experience is a mandatory requirement.
Responsibilities Designs, develops, and tests all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
Applies knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc.
May be involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of mechanical products.
Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Qualifications Machining experience is a mandatory requirement.
May require a bachelor's degree in engineering and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
