Provide impactful mental health support to Indigenous students at an elementary level. This full-time role emphasizes the importance of culturally sensitive approaches tailored to individual needs and community engagement.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering personal mental health guidance and crisis management to young learners. Drawing upon your knowledge of trauma-informed care, you will assess student needs and create personalized wellness plans. You will also contribute to community wellness initiatives, collaborating effectively with parents and local organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Offer tailored mental health support to youth
• Complete assessments for risk and strength evaluation
• Develop and deliver impactful mental health initiatives




• Monitor effectiveness and adjust wellness plans
• Engage with community to enhance support events

Requirements:
• Minimum of two years providing youth mental health support
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or similar
• Certification in First Aid required
• Experience in a First Nation setting is an asset
• Knowledge of Ojibway language is preferred
