As a key member of the healthcare team, you will assess and implement nutritional care aligned with health standards. This full-time role involves collaborating with nursing staff and healthcare professionals, conducting educational sessions, and participating in resident care conferences. Your impact will be measured through improved nutrition and resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct nutritional assessments and develop care plans
• Document and monitor residents’ dietary needs
• Provide staff training on nutrition topics
• Consult with healthcare teams on dietary issues
• Lead initiatives to improve resident food satisfaction
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Food & Nutrition required
• Completed a recognized Dietetic Internship
• Registration with dietetic regulatory body mandatory
• Experience as a Clinical Dietitian in long-term care
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
