Overview

Opportunity
We are currently hiring Carpenters to join our team at our shop in Abbotsford. The ideal candidates will have a passion for the craft of carpentry with 5 years’ carpentry experience, preferably with wood processing. This is a full-time position reporting to the Shift Supervisor.
Responsibilities
Reading blueprints/shop drawings
Laying out, building templates, jigs, utilizing hand/shop and air tools
Employing best practice in fabrication
Framing within the prescribed tolerances in both rough/finish carpentry through to coating application
Rigging and loading for site installation
Eye for quality control/assurance and safety from start to finish
Knowledge, Skills, Experience Needed
To be successful in this position you will be reliable, self-motivated, disciplined, take ownership for your work and have a good command of the English language.
Required
5 years' carpentry experience preferred
First Aid Level One, Fall Protection and WHMIS Certificates
Some selective project travel may be required
Shifts
Day Shift - 6:00am - 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday.
Afternoon Shift - 4:30pm - 3:00am, Monday to Thursday

Pay
The Pay Range For This Role Is 21 - 24 CAD per hour (Abbotsford Head Office)
