Responsibilities

Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversation with clients

Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation

Offer medication reminders and support with appointments

Help clients with grooming and bathing

Assist with toileting and managing incontinence care

Support individuals living with Alzheimers disease

Qualifications and requirements
Previous experience is an asset, but not required full skills training and ongoing education will be provided by Mimakcare

Demonstrate the ability to treat clients and their property with respect, dignity, and compassion

Communicate in a friendly, patient, and professional manner

Successfully complete a criminal background check

Provide two qualified and two personal references

A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are recommended (not mandatory)

Submit a drivers abstract (if applicable)

Have access to a computer and cell phone
