In-Home Assisted Living Inc. (IHAL) is seeking dedicated, caring, and reliable Live‑In Personal Support Workers (PSWs) and Caregivers to provide 24-hour, in‑home support to clients in the comfort and safety of their own homes. What You Should Know
Location: Mississauga, ON (client homes)
Shift: Live‑In – 24‑hour shifts

What You’ll Do
Personal Support & Daily Care

Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting

Support mobility, walking, and safe transfers (bed, chair, wheelchair)

Home Support

Provide light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe environment

Prepare and serve meals based on client preferences and dietary needs

Health & Safety Assistance

Offer medication reminders and support daily routines

Complete daily care reports and communicate observations to the Case Manager or healthcare team

Companionship & Emotional Support

Engage clients in meaningful conversation and provide reassurance

Promote comfort, dignity, independence, and overall well‑being

What We’re Looking For

PSW Certificate required

Minimum 1 year of caregiving or PSW experience as a live‑in caregiver

CPR/First Aid Certification required





Training in Gentle Persuasive Approaches (GPA) or Non‑Violent Crisis Prevention preferred

Ability to use a mobile phone for documentation and time tracking

Strong verbal and written communication skills

A second language is an asset

Reliable, compassionate, and able to respond calmly to unexpected situations

Strong commitment to client safety, dignity, and respect
